The polls have now closed and the results are in, the two candidates with the most votes are the winners of the Community Votes 2023. Congratulations to both OnionRings and CEO of Business.

This year we stated openly that we had no key areas, no specific focus, instead we wanted to listen to our candidates and what they think we should be working on. And then we wanted YOU our community to make the final decision on who would be best for this role.

If you haven’t already be sure to drop our two newest Community Managers a message of congratulations!

All the candidates who applied and attended their interview have put an immense amount of time, effort and dedication into this Community and all have shown a commitment with their plans, ideas and above all motivation to make progress this year. So thank you to all of you and good luck particularly to our chosen candidates; we want to wish you all the best in your new roles.

The Votes

The top two candidates with the highest and second highest amount of votes are the winners of the Community Votes 2023. All candidates were listed on the poll in a randomized order, with each registered member of the community given a chance to cast up to two votes for their top two choices. Every member of the community was allowed to vote providing they registered prior to the announcement on 9th January 2023. There were 268 votes cast in total.

To ensure the utmost accuracy and fairness in this vote all members of the Community Team and Forum Administrators have been actively reviewing all the votes cast throughout the week and able to remove any fraudulent votes found before the results were calculated. Thankfully this time around no fraudulent votes were detected whatsoever on the poll.

All Community Team Members and Forum Administrators have confirmed the accuracy of the results.

OnionRings - 39.2% share of the vote
CEO of Business - 37.7% share of the vote
Darling - 23.1% share of the vote

What will the new CMs be doing?

OnionRings and CEO of Business will shortly be given their new ranks but will first need to complete an induction before they gain access to their new powers. In the meantime you can drop them a message with any questions or concerns you may have about their plans. The Induction takes around 5-6 hours to complete and ensures that no matter what candidate gets accepted they will be brought up to speed to the same level as the rest of the team.
