bruh anything we say just has to be put in negative manner from you guys I don't get it people want old shit back because it fucking worked and the server had an actual good ranking so that new players would see the server in their recommended if you fix a server that is cluttered with contents that no one plays in what's that gonna do. so I am trying to say is that you guys tried and tried and tried with a bunch of updates bunch of contents nothing worked how about you start a new server it doesn't need to have the old content just leave this mess alone it ain't gonna work I think it's that obvious because right now all the effort in development just get wasted since no one plays.

The reason for a new F4 menu is because the existing one is both visually and code-wise far to cluttered to the point where it is causing limitations for content that we can include in it. The old code for inventory sorting was incredibly unoptimised and causing issues, so for the time being this is not a feature and has been replaced by category-based sorting, however it is likely that custom sorting may be re-implemented in the future.

I feel like you just don't get it Xnator everyone who has spent years playing ssrp in this community has had good times at some point and when remembering those moments you get a nostalgic feeling and wishing the old moments you had could be reproduced but it ain't possible when the cm team / owners don't get how people feel and what they want I mean right now the server is cluttered with content to point where it ain't fun at all, fixing the menu sure might of been needed but it ain't solving the server's problem, you also keep saying we are here to listen yet we don't see any feedback been applied. just make a new post asking people what do they want to see next in SSRP and apply the ideas in a new server that has a new database and has nothing to do with the old one just give it a fucking shot it's not like you guys are on tight budget or anything since we keep seen unnecessary shit like Murder, Minecraft and please stop saying we are not resetting the sever that's not what I am asking.

As many older players have moved on from Garry's Mod and ZARP nowadays, our focus is not to give a few people a little bit of nice nostalgia. Our focus has to be on what works in the wider Garry's Mod and DarkRP community at the moment, and a reset or keeping old, outdated features would only hinder that.

I don't think this is a bad approach. But keep in mind, while players have moved on from playing SSRP for example that doesn't mean they won't come back if things they want to see changed or fixed get done. Instead of spending hours and hours on a UI update there could have been a much better use of time in my opinion that could attract/bring back older players but also get newer ones on.

People will not join the server unless other people are already on the server. Getting a foundation of players playing again is the goal here to build back from, and you won't be doing that with only a HUD update.

absolutely agree, this is a huge downgrade in overall quality, looks like something i'd buy off gmodstore for £4.99 rather than the original aesthetic of zarp. i honestly hope they dont go thru with this - its also sad to see that this is what developing time is being spent on, reskinning the already amazing menus with cheap looking redesigns rather than making new fresh content people will actually enjoy.
