Rules is rules, If its more then 1 trap then yes.

well that's a bit stupid :? then again the whole rule change makes no sense.

If you have any problems with it, feel free the make a suggestion to change the rule.

so by using an ingame feature you risk a warn? You litteraly don't decide where you get slapped surely there was a better way to do this

Just like accidental trap reactivation or ghosting or whatever isn't punished unless it's repeat offenses, this wouldn't be punished for it either. Exploiting is exploiting and using the slap for the sake of skipping every trap to get to the end in like 5 or 10 seconds is literally exploiting and understandably not wanted as it essentially defeats the point of the entire gamemode, and this rule is obviously ment to target those that use it to skip entire maps such as hot desert.

It could've been written better or decided differently but ultimately I agree with the rule and I highly doubt that anyone is going to get punished for skipping two traps or maybe even three because they were slapped by RTD.

If there is these underlying issues with the rtd features alter the maps to prevent people from doing this, you can use permaprops /persistent props or if there is a better /move efficient way to do it use that, the rtd system way implemented in the first place to add more fun to the gamemode, you are able to alter how strong all of the effects are and at its core it's supposed to be high risk high reward

Thank you.
I wish these solutions were seen earlier, instead of having entire features of the game made less useful. what makes RTD any different from people exploiting the maps themselves to get better times? In those cases, the maps were altered and props were added in place to prevent those exploits. Players shouldn't be punished for getting lucky bonuses when using the RTD system, that's the entire point of it after all.

Well, that's a lie.
As the ban states, you were banned for Farming records and freerunning for XP which has been a rule for a while. You were already previously warned and banned for this by Hellsdevil and despite that, you continued which resulted in this ban. So please don't start twisting the story.

As for the rule itself, the intended purpose is to stop those just skipping the entire map with one push of a button and render the entire game mode useless. As for the rare event of someone accidentally skipping several traps, (I say accidentally because in all my time playing not once have I seen it happen, only when someone goes out of their way to attempt it) it is up to the handling staff member how the deal with the situation. Personally, if someone was to skip several on accident, I myself would ask them to wait and then tp them back to the correct position (bring if I'm still alive), because giving them a punishment for an accident isn't right in my eyes.

Except I gave you one chance to not do it again, then I gave you a lenient ban when I caught you once more. Told you not to do it again, then you were caught doing it again, again and again.

Yet still instead of fixing the exploits on the maps, the rules had to be changed cuz it's too hard to learn hammer or do what pitt did with the vending machines.

Also from what I remember some staff members said that the times will be reset anyway so why do my times matter so much that I had to be banned for them

Sounds like you're upset for being appropriately punished. Next time you can just listen and adhere to the rules and nothing will happen, food for thought.

This is the rule:

2.9 - Farming / Freerunning
Farming of points or xp is not allowed. This can be done by participating in freeruns to gain points and experience or any other unfair way of gaining these "resources".

and i played DR like 1,5 years ago and that rule were there

I agree that you did break a rule. But not a rule that should be perm bannable.
Red seems way too happy with the punishments lately.
Also warned Kribban out of the blue without following Staff Ethos.

Blame the staff who trained them I guess :D and also blame the staff because most trainers at minimal tell them to read it.

Not gonna lie but I don't think trainings on deathrun still exist. It's a thing of the past. Back in the day you would see people being punished for "training" purposes after each Friday meeting and now there's barely anything happening there in that regard.
