Why should police actively try to stop zone captures but they dont have to actively stop nukes and everything else?
The rule was made because of a cop standing inside a zc and not doing anything
????? ok? why does that matter
Because a cop from the same gang can keep the ZC active while other police cannot kill the police officer due to RDM/Corruption
But it is corruption for that police to not do anything when a group of criminals are trying to capture the zone which is a public area, and those areas are owned by the Mayor. Police are there to maintain the peace. Pointless rule to be added.
In the nicest way, try to deal with the people that loophole stuff. If it isnt down in black and white its okay. I want the common sense rule back because I agree with you, unfortunately if you punish for something that is obvious but not written down you get swarms of hate and told "you are not following ethos" or "biased cunt" or "you don't know how to do your job" the list goes on
there are SO many things actively and purposefully left extremely open to interpretation (95% of the Mutant rules for instance, which is SUCH an easy fix if they wanted to actually sort it out). making this pointless rule is so weird. When an incident impacts on a new item or feature, a rule is made almost immediately, but the core gameplay things which are rather broken are just left alone.
