☠️ THE POINTSHOP HALLOWEEN UPDATE IS NOW LIVE! ☠️

It's finally time for the long awaited Pointshop Halloween Update! While you're reading this announcement we're working hard on deploying the update to our various Pointshop Servers. If you're still waiting for your favorite server to be updated you might want to continue reading this announcement to find out what you can expect. We hope you'll enjoy our new spooky update!

WHAT'S NEW?

Swirly Trails
This years Halloween Update will re-introduce trails! It's been a long time since you were able to equip trails on our servers and we've finally decided to properly implement them in our new Pointshop. For now we've added a total of 8 basic trails and we're already working on more. We've recognized that trails might have a negative impact on gamemodes such as Surf and BHOP which is why we've added an option in the F1 menu to hide trails on your client. We hope that you'll enjoy our new trails and we're excited to continuously support and expand them over the next updates.


Smokey Vapes
Alongside trails we've also implemented vapes as a new type of cosmetic item. Puff clouds of smoke on your fellow players and play various sounds based on the type of vape you're using. We've added a total of 4 basic vapes in this year's Halloween Update and we're working hard to expand our arsenal. Just like with trails we've of course added an option in the F1 menu to disable them on your client, if you feel like they are too intrusive. We hope you'll enjoy our new vapes and we're excited to continuously support and expand them over the next updates.


Spooky Skins
New Update, New Skins! Just like in the last few updates we've added a bunch of seasonal skins in this year's Halloween Update. To compensate for the lack of new skins during the summer we've added a total of 12 new spooky skins equally spread across all rarities. A vast majority of the new skins introduced were suggested by members of the community and I'd like to personally thank OnionRings, Nay and GodDamitRoss for their efforts in suggesting skins over the last few weeks. If you'd like to see specific skins in the Pointshop, feel free to make a suggestion on the forums.


The Halloween Wheel
As a special way to obtain the items that were introduced in this year's Halloween Update we've decided to add a new spooky prize wheel. Spin the wheel to get a chance of obtaining one of the 4 new halloween-themed Card Packs which contains cards for the new skins, vapes and trails. Make sure to take advantage of this new seasonal prize wheel, since it won't last forever. We hope you'll enjoy the prize wheel and we'd love to hear your feedback on these "seasonal minigames". Inventory Improvements
The Halloween Update also contains various improvements to our inventory system. From now on you'll be able to permanently remove items that can't be sold from your inventory. You'll also be able to sort your inventory by name, category or rarity. We're planning to improve the overall usability of our Pointshop. If you've got any suggestions to improve usability, feel free to post a suggestion on the forums. We hope you'll enjoy the improvements we've made.

WHAT'S UP NEXT?

As already mentioned above we're planning to support and expand the various features we've introduced in this update. Additionally we've got various plans to add even more types of cosmetic items and more ways to obtain them. Our next general milestones include overhauling the daily objectives system and implementing the achievement system that was created during this year's Community Developer Challenge.
