It's been happening alot recently with old staff members coming back and reapplying for staff ranks. I dunno if they can really be bothered to constantly remove the ranks just to give it back to player after they resign (no good terms of course). They seemed to earned the rank in the beginning so whats the point in taking it away from them. Although LM is a somewhat easy rank to obtain these days it never used to be.

You lose the LM role when you are caught rulebreaking ETC. You get let off only for so much before losing the rank. Its not totally what I know with darling but that is his story to tell. Its also if he resigned on good terms ETC
