Imagine "needing more experience for admin" when being a mod for 3 or 4 weeks. Then a guy who gets mod a week ago gets admin the next week

don't even think he's an ex staff member either, could be wrong,
before someone calls me salty for being admin i couldn't care less, and obviously i'm banned but it seems that when the staff team doesn't like someone (mainly the LT) then denials for "needs more experience" are handed out.

They were both ex-staff and don't carry a history for causing trouble.

That's probably the thinking behind why you were kept at moderator for several weeks - you weren't TRUSTED.
