TOPIC: [POINTSHOP] Easter Update!

The Pointshop Easter Update is here! With all new skins, content and updates, we're sure you'll love what's coming your way this Easter!


New Items

We've now added all the new items following the recent Pointshop Meeting!




Pointshop Profiles

The all new Pointshop Profiles system has been implemented across the servers. Within the Pointshop, you can now see a list of all players and some basic stats about them (weekly playtime, total playtime, etc)!
All players are sorted by their weekly time, so get playing and bring yourself to the top of the leaderboard!

Pointshop Profiles allows a lot more options going forward for implementation within the Pointshop, along with a range of new tools for Server Owners to use for their own servers.


xGames Update

xGames has now been updated across all servers! With bug fixes, improvements to the UI, optimisation and the new game Hangman, xGames is better than ever before. You will also now see that xGames has come to TTT alongside all of the other Pointshop servers!
Keep an eye out for Chess coming very soon!


Easter Wheel

It wouldn't be an update if we didn't fuel your gambling addictions, would it (seriously, some of you guys need to get help)? So here is the Easter Wheel! With a range of new possibilities from cases to points, gamble away everything you have to your heart's content until you're left with a bunch of random cases and items!


Easter Cases

To celebrate the season, we've brought three new cases for you to enjoy!
The Easter Case contains all of the new items added from the Pointshop Meeting, which cannot be obtained anywhere else! Get spinning on the wheel now and grab your cases for your chance to win these amazing new items!
We also have the Effects case and Titles case, containing all of the Effects and Titles added in the previous update. Customise your items with some fancy content!


Tasks System

As part of my plans to improve transparency and the workflow on the Pointshop servers, I have implemented an all new "Tasks System" for the Pointshop servers, which you can find here: fastdl.friendlyplayers.com/thexnator/Tas...php?server=Pointshop
With this system, you can see what is being worked on for the Pointshop servers and what we are currently prioritising (aside from issues marked as confidential). You will also be able to create bug reports and suggestions through this system which will be sorted appropriately and implemented if we see fit, something you will also be able to see the progress of and the Server Owner+ assigned to the relevant tasks so that you know exactly who to harass! (9 times out of 10, it'll be me)


Admin Tab

For Server Owners, life just got a lot easier! Server Owners will be able to use the Profiles system to access administrative features of the Pointshop once again, allowing for refunds to be made a lot more easily in the case of any issues and events to be held by Server Owners on their respective servers.
But don't worry, everything is logged through Discord, so no abuse is going to be happening!


Optimisations and Improvements

Various changes have been made to the way that the Pointshop servers work, meaning that Server Owners and Developers will have a much easier time modifying their servers, and a lot of the code has been neatened up.
Many areas now have a simple API to be used such as the implementation of new ranks to the servers and much more.
These improvements are likely to only be noticed by Server Owners, however users may notice improvements in some areas as well!


Missing Content?

Sometimes when we update our content Garry's Mod can take a while to catch up. If you see missing pink/black textures or receive a "Missing content message ". Follow these steps to fix it:

1) Unsubscribe from the ZARP POINTSHOP CONTENT pack: steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1344786324
2) Run this command in console: menu_cleanupgmas
3) Restart the game and re-connect to the server the updated content will be downloaded automatically.


The update has currently been added to TTT and Prophunt, which is the result of me staying up all night (until 6am) finishing it up and getting it onto these servers. It will be added to the other servers over the course of the day today (07/04/2019).
There will also be a couple of server specific updates coming very, very soon!
