Max made the whole gamemode, without him surf gamemode wouldn't even be what it is, would have been some other shitty thing like flow, and there is more to server owning than just coding, so don't use that as an excuse.
Yeah man I'm sure he made the entire surf gamemode from scratch. For anyone who can't tell I'm being sarcastic I very much doubt he did.

Yeah this is exactly right, if you have a faulty appliance in your house you don't just keep it and let it waste space in your house just because it used to work well, you get rid of it. Same thing applies to staff members, just because Max did a great job over the last 3 years (and I'm not downplaying anything he did at all, everyone should be grateful for what he did), the fact is he has not been very active over the last few months and has been rightfully demoted as a result. There is really no reason for people to complain about this demotion or the way it was handled apart from a slight lack of professionalism from certain members of the CM team.
Also Xnator, Anon, Onion and whoever else joins in on the petty argument of "you broke this and I fixed that" please argue elsewhere as its not relevant to his demotion in any way and it just makes you all look pathetic.
