I'm still getting the infamous "sending client info" problem, has anyone found a way to bypass it?

Try doing cl_downloadfilter none then join

If you want to reset it do cl_downloadfilter all

No when you start gmod you will see start single player and stuff goto addons and disable all is one of the options
