TOPIC: Got warned and slain even though I was forgiven..

Hello,

So I accidentally RDMed someone by pressing the button in the tester instead of the lever. They reported me and I replied. They then forgave me. But I still get auto slain and warned. I don't understand why a forgive button would exist if I would still get punished. This is the first ever time this has happened to me and I have been playing TTT for a while now on Zarp. All I am asking for is for my warning to be removed as I was harshly warned even though I was forgiven; it's the reporters/victims choice for me to get punished or not. Like it has always been (staff usually asks if the victim forgives or not and whether the person should be punished) I am trying to go 2 weeks without warnings so I can get un banned on SSRP. The person who warned me was conor.martin838.

Well then why ask if the users forgives if you're going to end up punishing the person anyway... Seems very illogical to have a forgive button and to ask if the user forgives, don't you?

I also like the way I reported someone for RDM and conor still hasn't solve it yet he instantly warns me even though I was forgiven? HmMmMmM

You just can't answer the main question and the main point with a valid reason can you? Tells me in game that he's just following the rules yet even the super admins don't warn on forgiveness. Weird that a mod is doing it but higher ranks aren't, trying to abuse as much as you can.

It's like you always have something to say which is usually invalid or just an excuse to slip you out of a situation. Why warn on accidental and a forgiven report?

Oh so you feel like an accident from a person with no recents NEEDS to be warned. Thats really just abusing the system. You know it doesn't always come down to the rules, you also have to look at if the person has got any recents and has regularly done it and is just trying to get out of the matter. Clearly I haven't got any recents and you still drop a harsh punishment on me.. And i'm just trying to get unbanned on one of the Zarp servers, Just really seems harsh to me.

Feel free to appeal the punishment. Obviously the forgive button does not excuse rule breaks, but it should be taken into account when the report is seen by a staff member. I would personally argue you should not have been punished in this situation.
