Hello all (and hopefully/mainly the moderator team and up)
Been a bit lazy and never really got round to this but I wanted to ask if it is possible that warns can be wiped off my profile.
I believe ive had three warnings overall since I joined the server, the most recent one being legitimate.

However my first two warns given to me by 'Hopsical' I believe to be completely ludicrous.
I dont know if you guys are able to pull up the chat logs from it and such but ill give my steam ID and such at the bottom if anyone wants to look into it(?)

My first warning was due to "RDM and joining a gunfight"

Easily my favourite of the two as this one involves one guy killing another guy and running off, leaving the un ID'd body. So obviously hes a T right? Nope. So I kill him while he screams, and i quote, "dude, he was a beta cuck". Then he reports me, thats fine, he RDM'd and killed an innocent all good right? Wrong.

I get to join the chatroom with him and Hopsical. I get to play 20 questions with Hopsical as to why i killed this guy. I dont think i really need to narrate this bit as its just "well he killed a guy". But, keeping in mind the guy ran away from the body, since i didnt 'let him ID the body' i 'joined a gunfight' which is against the rules. Um, sorry? Considering the guy even put in the chat box that the reason he killed him was because "hes a beta cuck" and "sorry that information is classified". Yet i still get a warning for RDM? Oh right thats fun. Especially considering the guy gets banned like 5 minutes later because he kept RDM'ing, nice one! Kinda feels like Hopsical kept asking questions until i said something he could warn me for within context, feels like the guy wants to lie about stuff just for a power trip but whatever.

My second warning was from the great man himself: Hopsical, great guy. This time, for RDM and lying in a report! good stuff!
Issue is, I didn't lie but I did get an innocent killed. Im at the tester and it flashed up red for traitor, but we all know this trick, just re-test right? so i did that, i flicked the lever again. Red. Huh.... So i flick the lever a third time, red again. He must be a traitor right? well, he wasn't and he reported me, that is understandable but im still confused as to why it came up red three times. I explain what happened in voice chat and I just get told by Hopsical that im lying. Well, im not, i was with another two people they saw it too. What do you want me to say?

But its okay guys, i just get called a liar and just told "just wait 2 weeks then their inactive" (gr8 advice m8). I accept the fact I did RDM indirectly but the fact im just called a liar and also warned for it kinda takes the piss to be honest. (Also its nice that another player was able to explain what happened to me since i didn't realise you had to open and close the door a few times on the tester to reset it, instead of just calling me a liar he actually saw what went wrong)

Naturally I have a dislike towards the guy, so he reaches out to me on steam. I thought that was pretty... well selfless? I guess? So i give the guy a chance, maybe hes not as bad as he seems right? Nah I was wrong, all he wanted to do really was just tell me how right he is and how im wrong

Anyway without ranting too much it would be pretty cool if you guys could consider getting rid of the first warning at least, the second was was fairly legitimate but calling me a liar isnt really on.

If my memory serves me right, you have to open and close the tester door before testing again for it to give you the correct result; this 'resets' the tester if the trap was activated. Fun fact incase nobody has mentioned it to you already.

If what you say is true both of these warns are invalid. A fight ends when the winner has identified the body or left it, so if they ran away you did not join a fight. When double testing you need to open then close the door or it will not work and will continue to show red however that is unimportant as you do not have to double test, if it goes red you may kill them. You will need evidence to back up your claims though.

Little confused by the chat, so is he saying that because you said you tested him 3 times even though you didnt test him properly mean you are lying? And how does that make it RDM when the tester still showed red meaning he can be KOSed regardless.

He clearly doesnt know how to properly retest, however it was an honest mistake so LIR is a bit much. Also users should not be punished for killing due to the tester trap (unless it shows up as green or blue, of course)

I agree with the points Miia has placed here.

You have 3 options:

1. and easiest add me and I will check things out and possibly ask you some questions in steam. And maybe overrule the punishments.

2. make appeals using this template and an admin+ will handle it

3. Make a demote request on Hopsical using this template (note as a result your warnings may as well be removed if they werenr placed for legitimate reasons

The thing with #1 is that you will have to wait up a bit as I will be in home in 6.5hours

You are not allowed to warn someone If they don't double test. The traitor trap is a TRAP meant to confuse people.
