TOPIC: Requesting staff template?!

Is it really needed? I know you're trying to help out but think to yourself, is it actually really needed?

In my opinion, no, no it’s not needed at all, actually I see no point in it. Are we not expected to come online if they don’t follow a template? Come on they’re only requesting staff, there shouldn’t neee to be a template

The wording might of needed an adjustment, but do you seriously all think that if you don't use the template we're simply going to ignore the request of a user to come online? No.

That being said, I'll be adjusting the wording.

As Miia does best is clarifying the intent of people and I'll restate it here.There are a lot of players who would like to see the people who are ruining their gameplay experience punished as soon as possible, which in right makes it easier for the staff having to deal with it if they could provide some more details ahead of time rather than all at once when staff get onto the server.

The reason behind this was simply to remove just how many threads get made about asking for staff, this way it'll all be in one convenient place and allowing our section of the forums to be more than just an asking for staff to come online. I love seeing people bringing up discussions about our server, thoughts and even suggestions that they might have but aren't to sure on how to go about refining it.

Ultimately, I'd like to thank you for making this thread rather than joining into the now clustered thread that held a specific meaning behind it.

I'm bored and want to argue so fuck it. While it may seem pointless to have a template it is there to make your job as staff a little easier. While yes you may say no one wants to waste time filling in a template many staff seem to to think its the end of the world if they don't, like they will be denied staff coming on if they don't fill it in correctly which is just dumb. No one is being forced to use the template it is simply there for those who want to make staff lives a little easier.

Player count-As a staff member being asked to join the server i would always take this into consideration to know how urgently i'm needed or if it is worth my time to join. Odds are if there are only 3 people on the server i would not join if called on so it would be nice to know this before going to join, likewise if it was a full server i would be as quick as possible when joining.

Rule breakers-These are the guys making the game a nightmare and are the reason you are being called on in the first place. It will help you greatly to know who they are so when you join you know who to keep an eye on and you can look at past logs to check for blatant cases of RDM

Rules broken-It makes your job a lot easier if when coupled with the rule breaker, you can join then quickly go through the logs see clear examples of them rule breaking and punish accordingly.

Stop complaining about this being pointless when it is designed to help you, sure people may not fill in the template but its not like you are going to refuse to join because of it.

Also regarding that staff members obviously cannot punish the person(s) who would be mentioned in the template unless you have seen the people rule breaking yourself or the person who is following the template has evidence. This is not a report abuse this is requesting staff to come on.

I personally still believe the template will not be used often but that is my beliefs and could not necessarily be true.

Look, I don't mean to be harsh here, but when I get complaints from Bezzy at 5 AM that he's getting bullshit over a perfectly valid and useful thread then I'm a little more than irritated to see people completely miss the actual point and instead focus on the most trivial of things. That thread is fine. It might need some polishing work, but overall it's fine.

As for saying no one could be punished anyway you are wrong, if in the template it says that someone has been mass rdming and i join, check the logs for the past few rounds and they show clear proof the player was in fact mass rdming then they can be punished without the need for the user having to gather evidence and make a report abuse.
