TOPIC: TTT Server 2 to come back??

What I dislike about a lot of newer staff is that they're always like "We need Server 2 back!" like it will magically be better than its predecessor.

First of all, you've never been around for S2. You don't know the server or how tediously boring it could be from time to time. I'm not saying that Minecraft is better but at least it has an actual playerbase, something S2 never had aside from at launch.

Although Minecraft works with control from owners that hardly communicate with its server and basically never join it (not trying to call out the owners here, I'm well aware how dedicated they are), if server 2 were to be launched it requires close attention from its creators. Responding to suggestions, actively trying to improve the server and join it themselves if possible.

Server 2 has always been said to fail because of its maps and that is most definitely true, however that does not mean it is impossible to get a steady playerbase going on another server that is not 24/7 Minecraft. It just needs careful planning and a closely watching eye from its creators, something the current owners are unwilling to give and almost definitely cannot do because of their other occupations.

I would personally prefer it if Xnator would drop one of his own servers (*cough* Murder *cough*) and instead work together with Max and Captin to at least make a mini-project that could eventually become server 2. They carry no risk here if they test the project properly and instead they refuse to work together with Xnator because they do not trust in his code.

Rather preposterous considering the fact that he owns and develops for multiple servers so I honestly cannot understand why they're completely unwilling to even give it a shot.
