TOPIC: My Opinion on some stuff about the Hacking Policy

So... after taking a look at this post made by one of our most mature staff in my opinion and checking the replies, i had to state my own opinion cause lately many people resign and in general leave the Community because of some stuff i even believe are not fair.


First thing i want to talk about, is the hacking policy.

Back before i resigned, if a hacker was caught and a video of him was being reviewed in the Lead Team Meeting, the hacker would get banned. In my opinion there's no point in kicking a hacker when he is not on the server. Last meeting we had to vote on a hacker. The admin reported a video of him to me, i brought it up and apparently the guy got a "kick",
It's like me joining SSRP, hacking, killing everyone but there are no SA/HAs on. Then i decide to not join the server any time soon again so i leave. Then i just get a kick and I can join after let's say 2 months and hack again and THEN get banned. Trust me, if there's a new guy joining our Community's server for the first time, he is not going to feel sad if he gets kicked. He will just join again. In some situations our policy is a bit... weird. I mean, why would we kick hackers? In my opinion we should just ASK them if they are hacking. If they say "Yes i am", then ask them to remove it. If they keep hacking then ban them. Or if they lie to us, then we can ban them. Just like the old times. I don't see why this has been changed and i request someone higher up to explain this to me.
If we have enough proof to see that someone is hacking and ban him, the person can also APPEAL the ban whenever he wants! If he really CARES for our server and really wants to play on it, he would APPEAL! If he didn't give a shit about the server, he would just join and hack again. It's common sense!
As for the admins and them not being able to ban is something i mostly agree on. They don't have an Anticheat system and they can not be 100% sure if someone is hacking. (although the past 5 hackers we have seen use cheats which counter the anti cheat system and we have to vote on them on the meetings). I would be pissed aswell if i see a hacker and I am so sure he is hacking, but i say to myself: "Okay, i will just follow the policy and send it to a Higher Up", Then at the meeting the guy gets KICKED?! I would be mad with our policies aswell.

Also, CMs, if you make a change in the policy, then please change the Template on the Applications aswell. Cause admins are mad at this.

Now, i don't want to break any NDA. But through this post i would like to kindly request the Meeting Hosts to give us a bit more time when we bring up people for demotion or if we have any objections. I understand that you guys want to finish the meeting fast and do the other meetings aswell, but the job is not being done correctly if every single week we get through meetings like that. I don't suggest that the meetings should last 1 hour. But just a few more minutes wouldn't be the end of the world in my opinion. Some times i just feel like Hosts don't care about the server but just to get the Meeting over with...

I would like to hear other peoples' opinions aswell on this and if i don't understand anything then any higher up can feel free to contact me.

I made this post for GOOD and to Improve some things but also so maybe all these staff that resign finally understand the reason behind these policies and how the people thought when they were voting on them. Not to cause drama.

Lets not start this hacking topic again. We have all tried and nothing happens, even when we had RedPowder on our side. Just give in.
