TOPIC: Activity?

I know i have been gone for a while but i was extremely bored and went on the forums to see the TTT staff list. I see there is a lack of Activity. I remember when i was staff nothing was done about that when staff just disappear and go inactive. I have just checked the TTT staff list but I'm betting this happens on every server. Just asking will anything ever be done about it? (I know the Raa when he was SA always brought people up for demotion)

Inactive staff members are always brought up for demotion eventually. I do believe the staff team should get back on that - before I resigned there were plenty of staff that could have been brought up. Regardless I don't see how this is an urgent issue. Having a few inactive staff members doesn't hurt anyone and plenty of staff joined the servers on a daily basis to manage it. I'd agree that something should be done if the inactivity of the staff members had an actual negative impact on the server (like it did on SSRP for a while, but that got fixed because of staff members finally being brought up) but so far I've yet to see any signs of that being the case.

Server activity isn't the most important thing after some ranks for example i'm really busy and rarely get time on the server but i'm always on the forums and on teamspeak 3 almost always handling situations and helping out staff and users alike

Very strange thing to do when your bored(I mean the looking at everyones gametracker part, not the looking at the staff list part), but yeah there are definitely people on there that shouldn't be from what I remember

So many inactive staff on the staff list its crazy.

You dont even need to look at the gametraker. I checked some just to make sure i wasnt lying but if you click on their steam profile it shows the recent games / games played within two weeks and gmod isnt even on the list.

Activity is key.

As far as i know all the inactive staff are being brought up in this next meeting.

We watch our staff's activity closely if you believe someone has slipped the net be sure to message a member of the LT and we will sort it out as soon as we can!

Before they bring staff up for demoted they like to talk to them, making them aware that they haven't been meeting the requirement. They'll be demoted eventually.
