Hello,

I have recently been using a method where I note who is in the Nether and then wait outside and watch the comings and going, when someone pops out who hadn't originally entered I shoot and kill them. 100% of the time I net myself a traitor. Usually they file a report aginst me, I respond with how I knew they were a traitor and they forgive me.

This time I got myself another traitor and as recieved a report. However, I was not forgiven and given a slay (but no warning oddly) by 'Admiral Snackbar' for 'Do not RDM on Susp' without a chance to defend my actions. My question is does this method infringe on any of the rules?

Technically yes, that would be a valid reason. Something you should know is TTT is special, meaning many things don't make sense.

It's because there are other ways of getting into the nether besides the nether portal and T room say for example a detective goes in the nether places a marker on his teleporter and then goes out of the nether gets killed and then an innocent finds his tools(DNA scanner , teleporter , etc.) and the marker on the teleporter stays the same even after a different player has taken it meaning if they activated it , it would take them to the nether .

Thanks, however that is a very specific and unlikely event, I guess I would be using this method at my own peril?

Edit: I think I already know the response, I'll just stop altogether.

Because of these opportunities killing anyone would be assuming that they entered from T room

Players who join mid game can spawn in nether this is another problem with doing this.

The best thing to do in this case I think is to watch them and see if they commit a Traitorous act after coming out because as said people can spawn in there so you could risk killing an innocent. I think Admiral should have maybe opened a chat but these things do happen and it is something we can all learn from.

Thanks for making this clarification as it is good to see you want to follow the rules to a better extent ;)

Sounds fine to me, if you're doing it correctly you've put them in a situation where they cannot have gotten in there without using a teleporter or the traitor room.

You can clearly see if someone spawns into the nether as appose to going there through the portal.
