Name me a good surfer that plays on zarp and is from the states

Jusu used to hold a few records, Sam the Sausage is a good surfer who also holds records I believe, and I've met Americans on the server who are good at surfing, they both had the same ping as me

Well it was moved for the sake of having better and more reliable servers, this along with the fact that the EU base has left in recent years so it's a smart move to try and get players from the United States to join. As for SSRP elemental is a prime example of US players rejoining but the amount of players joining on a regular basis has been increasing.
I agree with trying to complete the high tier maps clean while having high ping is impossible but all I have to say to that is that it's a Garrys Mod surf server, just chill out, if you want competitive surf just play CSGO

I do enjoy playing harder maps and I also surf in css, but I have a lot of great memories on the Zarp Surf Server and I know how much thoughts and efforts went into the new gamemode by Knu aswell as me.

Yes I know it is Gmod, but there are still a lot of players on Gmod who enjoy playing hard maps which was the original reason why the new gamemode was created in the first place.

I don't think that it is bad wanting to get US players to join, but I think it shouldn't go at the cost of the people who waited for over 1 year to finally enjoy the new gamemode and get back into gmod surf.

I really do understand your points and I appreciate them!
But I am also quite sad that for all of those who've been waiting for this long are now unable to enjoy it.

Maybe I am to emotionally attached, but I am really disappointed.

I get what your saying and the CMs have debated this for months, at the end you are one of the few players from the EU that still play/came back. The potential that Zarp has to grow is if they can gain and maintain an American player base because the EUs player base has become so small (besides the admins who never play anyways)
