TOPIC: Detecting Ghosters (help for new mods)

First off. Not all are ghosting, knowing that it is against the rules. If they have no other warnings on their name, always tell them to stop first.

Tell signs.
1) Unusual amount of kills in a short time (Not at the start of the game, afk'rs)
2) Stopping, then moving to an area where there is a prop. Usually a sign of taking instructions.
3) A hunter standing in an area and just looking around. Again a sign that they can't find the prop.
4) Some will wait until the last few seconds. They will go away from a prop but keep coming back to try to put off the scent of a moderator/admin. Keep a close eye on this one, they won't go far so they wont miss the kill if someone else find the prop.
5) Ghosters don't just kill props. they hide each other. Look out for hunters hiding the prop.
6) You have worked out a couple might be ghosting, watch for the prop death, then watch the hunter kills.

Always make sure the Ghosters are in different teams. Some may look like they are ghosting with a friend online, and it turns out they are on the same team and are just good at the game, so always check. Also make sure the prop is dead before watching for hunter action.

Some good tips but i think you should mention that just because someone acts in this way it doesn't always mean they're ghosting. Also some of the things you mention apply to hackers as well, like getting too many kills in a short amount of time or avoiding props so the staff don't notice.

This post is purely for ghosters and I did say they might not be ghosting. It's just a quick post before bed because I was asked for a bit of advice. Gah!
