TOPIC: No nicknames / gangs?

I looked through the change logs etc. and saw all the edits. But wondered where nicknames and gangs had gone as they seem to no longer exist in the server. If gangs have gone that's fine but would still be nice to use nicknames since they were also a part of the VIP package.

And I have a bind for switching 3rd person on and off. Now when I do it in chat you see "!3p" and I have to now type "!1p" instead of using the bind again for easy on and off access.

Also, the old scoreboard was better looking

Gangs were removed information can be found here, however, I am unsure why nicknames are gone, imo they were pointless.

Gangs were broken as hell and barely worked - or at least the current version was. We'd like to bring it back at somepoint in the future though..

There was a /name command that let you change name but it's been broken for a while - I can try and fix it at somepoint.. not sure if that's what you're referring to by "nicknames".

Yeah, you could do !vip and have a nickname beside your name, like how the gang names would work. It was a part of the VIP package that zarp offers alongside the VIP trails.

I don't think !vip was the right command but you had nicknames for sure, mine was just "xx" in red
