TOPIC: Question about Booster Packs

So I am going on vacation for 2 weeks tommorow, I will have no wi-fi, decided to give my account to one of my most trusted friend on zarp and was asking myself this question: If I buy the booster packs now and my friend claims them while an eventual "booster pack event" will the event apply or will it not apply because I did not buy them during the event?

If there's an event and you claim them during the event you get the items from the event since you claimed them during the event
