What does the gencorp orange core grenade do and is it infinite?

I heard it you throw it in spawn a magical sign reaching from the heavens above pops up on your screen saying 'Warned for Mass RDM'

Gen corp grenade is a scam do not buy them, even if they're at 900k each, scam

Can't holster, but they make a large explosion. Good for raiding, if you don't mind losing the item :3
