TOPIC: [Poll] Do you like the demote function?

This isn't a suggestion but I just wanted to get peoples opinions on whether you even like the demote function or not since it's abused so much and it's just as easier to have proof and do an f1 if you feel like a player isn't doing their job or is abusing their title.

Would also love to see a debate about it.

• What has been your experiences with it?
• Have you lost an item due to the system being abused?
• Do you like it because it's an easy way of stopping someone who is abusing?

The issue is it's way too easy to abuse the system and there are not many reasons for a demote that aren't exploitable.

The demote system causes accidental rulebreaks by people's subjective views on what is and isn't a job rule.

Too many ppl abuse it. I got demoted when i was a gangster for corrupt... that was because i did not let a guy base with me turns out he had like 5 accounts on and just demoted me no mods where on

I always get demoted when aft mining so others can take my place, lost 10 diamond pics last week and got demoted twice yesterday and once today while aft mining, because the job is full and they want to take my place

Its funny how 90% of the time people get demoted for no reason its fucking useless, yet when theres no staff on its the best thing for stopping rulebreakers

This needs to be removed. I've lost 3 handcanons, 5 tguns and more to the demotion system being abused.

When i was playing the server it was always for rulebreaks and not constructive at all.

The only helpful if rulebreakers when no admins!

The current demotion system is flawed, yet needed for proper game play. It's not a terrible system it works it's people ot understanding that there is only a limited few reasons to demote people. If we remove it we get less F1's but more issues and rule edits etcetera. It's also helpful for users when no staff are on, say there is a bunch of cops who keep randomly.arresting people.and the only way to stop it is demote them. (Might be breaking the rules, but it's viable and useful for the entire server in situations like this.)

In my opinion I do not like the demote system right now because there are to many flaws and not that many of valid demote reasons I constantly get false demote reports where it is not needed. Yes there are valid demote reasons where this is really good for RP reasons and that is why it should stay. It may cause trouble for staff members and false demotes but if that godfather doesn't have a agenda or if that miner is not doing his job it is a very useful tool

Prime example

Everyday I get at least 10 f1's about "random demote" and most of them turn out to be true.
I mean I just dont see the use in it anymore.

It's only good for demoting corrupt cops, so just take it off.
