TOPIC: Appointed Event Holders?

I've been to two events today, both held by Slayer and both have been huge disappointments, mainly because he likes to change the rules constantly throughout the event!

-First event "boogyman" he told us we could have a break to heal and boogymen wouldnt attack... yet we were attacked.

-Second event, people played for almost an hour at some murder/killer game then when there was 5 people remaining he decided to change the event to boogyman and invite new people to join, meaning the hour of the first game was pointless and the survivors were left with nothing but half health bars.

Should Zarp have specific people who are trained in hosting events, who can manage them properly and make sure they are fair throughout?

The thing that you people fail to understand is that he pays out of his own pocket. If you dont like his rules then dont participate in events and make your money legit like most of the people and stop whining about a guy that wants to give to people. If you try to get him in trouble so bad i dont know why you cant work hard for the money i mean you guys have a big mouth so why dont you get your ass up and make money yourselves.

The event prizes are never anything special anyway, I don't think anyone really plays for the prizes we play because it's fun. I have my own money. Also the fact his prizes were "donated" by someone else, makes your entire post invalid but cheers anyway, at least you tried.

The fact is it's not a big problem, I'm just putting forward an idea that if Zarp had dedicated event holders the events would be much better managed. You've clearly missed the whole point of my post which wasn't in any way argumentative, I'm not sure if you're looking for attention or what it is but so far you've completely missed the mark with your comments.

Events are done by administrators+ or by moderators with supervision, they're not mandatory so if you don't like the host of an event, you don't have to attend that said event. They're not sponsored and our staff give the rewards out of pocket, having a specific set of people to do events would limit the amount of events and most likely bring a lesser quality to the servers in general.

Sorry to hear your experience with the hosts in the event weren't the best, maybe you could give them some feedback of their events.

-Everyone would know the rules before the event starts
-The rules wouldn't change until event was over
-New people wouldn't be brought into events before they've finished

Just a few things like that, they're mainly for people to have fun rather than the prize and keeping them fair for everyone makes them more fun. It's just my opinion though and a suggestion for the server.

As Morgan said events are being hosted by a admin+ if they want to host it. We do not have specific times or days we do events they are simply being held when ever a staff member choose to. Also since the prizes are not sponsored by the server but by the staff member we cannot say that some staff members are not allowed to host them. It has to be fair. Everyone that is admin+ can host an event. And i am sorry to tell you but it will not be changed. It has always been like this and its gonna stay like this

This wouldn't ever become a thing, the events are there just to pass the time and are not serious the event can be what ever the admin wants and they can control it (aslong as it isnt affecting peoples RP that are not participating) to what extent they want. Events are for fun and not a specific job for two people to handle and manage each event, thats not what staff are here for.

Staff members changing rules, where have I heard that before.
