Okay so firstly I want to say I'm pretty hyped by the christmas update but due to it I have lost fifty million.
So I was on ssrp server one just enjoying the update and spent a couple of hours standing under the christmas tree to see if I could get a rare gift to craft the santa suit becuase that was the only thing I wanted from this new update was a new costume to play around with; after a couple of hours of standing under the tree getting nothing but common gifts I decided just to check the bidding market to see if anyone was selling one on there I could buy.
By this point it's already half one in the morning where I live and I'm pretty tired so I just searched the auction house and found one but everyone else was bidding three million and under so I decided to bid five million just to out do everyone but silly me I put too many zero's and ending up bidding fiftty million.
I tried contacting the owner of the item (I'm not going to say his name but he might comment on this thread) about getting my money back or even meeting me half way as the top bid under me was three million I would pay twenty five million in exchange for twenty five million back but he was pretty happy with receiving fifty million for one item which I cannot blame him becuase if I was on the other side of this transaction I would have kept the money to so no harm so foul dude, enjoy the money.
So I'm now fifty million down but luckly I have fourty five million worth of BP cases and weapon cases tucked in my bank but I'm sure I'll make the money back sooner rather than later.
So what I'm trying to say is when bidding on an item in the auction house make sure you double check how much you entered to bid becuase there's no way of getting your money back and staff members can't do anything about it.
Thanks for reading - sorry if it was a bit long but I just wanted you to know I'm not salty about loosing the money or whatever I'm just warning people how easy it is to loose money due to not double checking. Enjoy the money buddy, you know who you are.
