TOPIC: F1 counter is not a competiton

After becoming SA I have noticed that a lot of people keep asking their f1 count every time again and again. The f1 count is not a competition. It doesn't matter how many f1 you have as long as you do them actively and do them well. And I also have heard that some staff take it as a competition.

Also I don't want staff to have a mindset at the end of the week "I have done enough f1 for this weeks", "I have done more f1 than you" or anything similar.

You claim to be SA and I've never heard about you before. Either you changed your name or you're quite inactive on forums.
Please enlighten me

2. Nobody ever thought about it as a competition in first place, where did you get that from?

It's fine to be competitive as long as you remember that it's "Quality over Quantity" and don't steal F1s if someone else is handling them.

Well, although it's not meant to be a competition, there's nothing wrong with making it one with your friends, as long as you're getting the F1s done by good standards.

There is not really need for competition.
Staff should work together as a team and not fight over eachother's F1s and be like "Dude you stole my F1! "
I can see what point you're making Doombringer.
There should be more of a cooperative environment rather then a competitive one IMO.

I really agree on this topic! its a dang shame, people need to remember they work together, not against eachother, we are one big team here on

The whole point of the counter was really to find those who didn't do F1s.
As long as you do as much as you can you'll be fine.

The incentive of being the best staff member is one that should be encouraged, whilst we may be a team we need to try and best each other in order to continuously improve. Having a bit of a competition with your friend is fine, and if you rush your F1s and don't do them correctly then someone can record proof and get you talked to. Many jobs in the real world offer incentives to do better than others; even in school there is a heavy emphasis on being the best you can.

I personally like to know my F1 count at the end of the day so I know how well I've done and what my average F1 per day is.
While there are staff members who think its a competition that's them. It might encourage them its might help them "slack" off
