A Fertilizer can be crafted.
what Fertilizer does : Grows (example) weed plant instantly to Done.
what it costs: 5 carrots and 3 melons for 5.

Well it would make a use for carrots and melons. But its a bit op though.

Basically, let people craft it for a couple of 100 dollars and then make like 30k for weed or whatever in less than 5 seconds? No thanks (i skipped to be 100% on the math part)
