TOPIC: Making New RP Map (-Everyone-)

So I started making an RP map because I'm bored and I want some suggestions.... I was thinking I can use this tunnel that can be used by cars to travel between areas, while the surface is for travelling on foot. Any suggestions? Please give me a sketch which includes what I have done so far (Hosp.,Spawn,PD,Mayors office,Gas Station, Park, tunnel...) plus the suggestion

This is really fucking sick. Needs to be more varied in height and less square. Try making the spawn similar to block42 in feel, shops there, pd there, just the centre of everything.

imo it doesn't look very... unique. Try adding your own special little tweaks to it, make it less "squarish" and add a lot more variety in height, shapes, houses, and sewers if possible. Might be a good idea to add multiple spawns and stuff too.

How about making a couple of train stations and have those act as spawn points?

If this is like a pre-pre-alpha version, like first thoughts and tests, it looks great.

I agree with the guys above, add more differences and something.. unique! don't be afraid to look at other maps for inspiration.

I am expecting good houses to build sick bases in!

I have a general idea of what I'm going to make, and any suggestions would be really helpful... Maybe I can make the different areas seperated by water with underground tunnels that link them? What do you guys think

not bad so far, it looks like a small town downtown feel to it, maybe push mroe to like soxey said so there is more shops but keep to a rural theme in this district.

for other districts add maybe a suburbs or a larger downtown downtown area ala evocity

I got an idea.

I can make a shopping district with Italy style buildings with no road for cars, and connect the tunnel to some sort of hill with factories/warehouses... What do u guys think?

Victor the map looks pretty good but once I spoke to emp he listed a nice few things that was wrong with it, instead of asking what is wrong with it here ask him on TS3 or steam, but my opinion make some taller buildings, add more roads and don't keep it a square it looks bad that way, but other than that it's a nice map but at the moment I don't think it should be added. not offence was meant here.

Just by looking at it, it looks like everything is cramped into one place and you can see every base from one spot.. ik its not done yet but still...
