This guide is for anyone that is new to DarkRP or confused on the purpose of some of the jobs and their weapons. There is not much in-depth description of the jobs in game. We hope that this guide will be found helpful by new players.

Criminals

- Gangster:

Purpose: To participate in crime (Raids, mugs, carjacks, printing money and cooking drugs)
Special Privileges:
If you have VIP you'll get 25 armor on (re)spawn
If you are in a gang with gang upgrades unlocked, you will get these:
• Machette
• Unarrest Baton'
• Tommy Gun
• Increase in Druglab & Cooler Limit
• Armor Boost: 25 more armor on spawn.
Spawns with: Default weapons, if in a gang with the gang upgrades purchased you spawn with:
• Machete
• 25 Armor
• Tommy Gun

The gangster usually raids by using his lock pick and keypad cracker but unlike the thief, he has to buy a shipment instead of spawning with them. To spawn shipment of lock picks or keypad crackers just go to your F4 menu then shop and click on what you would like to spawn. After that, pull your lock pick or keypad cracker and point it at the door or keypad and hold left click, wait for the meter to fill up and the door will open. Gangsters can also spawn drug labs and Coolers. The whole point of this is making drugs and money, you just spawn a drug lab and a cooler( if you aren't VIP the coolers will empty out and you will have to refill them by pressing e. After you have both of them spawned and ready just add the drug you want to cook and it will start cooking. Note: If you want money you should cook LSD, since it gives $4500 every 7 min ( per one drug lab).

- Godfather

Salary: $60
Job limit: 1
Purpose: To direct crime.(Gangster purposes apply here too.)
Special Privileges: Can write the agenda for the gangsters as well as all gangster privileges.
Spawns with: Default weapons and Unarrest Stick, Lockpick and Keypad Cracker and mention gang upgrades for gangsters.

- Thief

Salary: $50
Job limit: 4
Purpose:
Special Privileges: None
Spawns with: Default weapons and Lock pick and Master Keypad

The name says it all, your a thief with all the professional tools you need ready the second you spawn, all you have to do is use them. Stealing is pretty simple, use your lock pick on faiding doors, cars and normal doors all you have to do is look at it and click. The keypad cracker is just for keypads thus the name, just hold the left button while looking at a keypad.

- Master Thief

Salary: $75
Job limit: Unlimited/li]
Purpose: Same as Thief.
Special Privileges: Master Lock pick.
Spawns with: Master Lock pick and keypad cracker.

You are a professional Master Thief, no different than a normal thief but you can lock pick faster.

- Hitman

Salary: $50
Job limit: 3
Purpose: Assassinate bounties.
Special Privileges: None
Spawns with: Default weapons.

The Hitman' s job is to complete hits, all you have to do is walk around the server and look for people with a Huge "Bounty tag (amount of money)" over his head, those people are KOS so don't hesitate to kill them. Watch out for cops though. Note: Since this is SSRP, you can advert that you are doing hits. Now usually, I suggest you include how to place hits on people, so new players place some hits all you have to do to place a hit is type /hit "name" "amount of money"
( the lowest hit is $2,500.)

- Black Market Dealer

Salary: $85
Job limit: 2
Purpose: Sell illegal weapons to criminals.
Special Privileges: Can spawn illegal weapons/items shipments for a price
• Uranium Production Unit = $1,000,000
• Colt Python Shipment = $250
• Lock picks Shipment = $800
• Keypad Cracker Shipment = $2,500
• KRISS Vector Shipment = $5,500
• Mossberg 590 Shipment = $6,000
• Slam Shipment= $25,000
Spawns with: Default Weapons and Colt Python

The Black Market Dealer's job is to insure that his fellow brothers in crime get their dirty hands on illegal weapons. You can base with any criminal jobs as well as print with them. Now you can make a shop but you don't have too but keep in mind that if the cops catch you selling these weapons they will Arrest on Sight (AoS)

- Drug Dealer

Salary: $70
Job limit: 5
Purpose: To make drugs and sell them
Special Privileges: Grow carrots, melons, weed and mushrooms.
Spawns with: Default Weapons.

The Drug Dealer's job is to help the bad guys get high. Your job is simple, all you have to do plant and sell. ( keep in mind that planting carrots and melons are legal but planting weed and mushrooms aren't). To plant a Carrot seed or Melon Seed you have to buy them from the General Store NPC, and to get Weed GunSeeds and Mushroom seeds you have to buy them from the Drug dealer NPC. Then, you spawn a pot and drop the seed in it. Wait for it to grow for around 8 min, you will know it has fully grown once it shows a done mark. Note: Don't let it over grow because that will kill the plant. You can sell what you get from plants to the Drug Dealer NPC and the General Store NPC.

The Middle Class

- Citizen

Salary: $45
Job limit: Unlimited
Purpose: This job is for general roleplay, it's basically to play as any normal man/women city or to roleplay as some jobs that don't exist already like "Casino Host".
Special Privileges: You can use /job "custom job" but it has to be a reasonable job but nothing criminal.
Spawns with: Default weapons.
You spawn as this job.The citizen makes a small salary, and has no special purpose. This job is mainly for if you are just wanting to do some base building or chilling out around town. If you don't intend on serving a cause while playing, it is recommended to go this job to prevent job sitting.

- Gundealer

Salary: $60
Job limit: 4
Purpose: To sell weapons.
Special Privileges: Can spawn (il)legal weapons/items shipments and pistols for a price.

• AK47 Shipment:$6950
• M4A1 Iron Shipment: $6950
• Famas Shipment: $5500
• M24 Shipment: $5500
• HK UMP45 Shipment: $3400
• FN P90 Shipment: $5250
• MP9 Shipment: $3600
• MP5SD Shipment: $4800
• UZI Shipment: $3500
• Benelli M3 Shipment: $5000
• M92 Beretta Shipment: $2100
• Desert Eagle Shipment: $1800
• HK USP Shipment: $1400
• SIG Sauer P229 Shipment: $1400
• Glock 18 Shipment: $1450
• Colt 1911 Shipment: $1150

Spawns with: Nothing.

The Gundealer's Job is to basically sell guns in order to gain money, you can buy a Checkout where you can sell your guns and keep the money safe from raiders. All you have to do is place the guns into the Checkout and choose the price, after that just open the Checkout and advert.

Heavy Weapons Dealer

Salary: $65
Job limit: 4
Purpose: To sell weapons.
Special Privileges: Can spawn (il)legal weapons/items shipments and pistols for a price.

• Shop Checkout: $5000
• M249 LMG Shipment: $23000
• AI AW50 Shipment: $21500
• Steyr AUG A3 Shipment: $7750
• L85 Shipment: $7750
• Dragunov SVU Shipment: $8550
• PSG-1 Shipment: $8500
• SPAS 12 Shipment: $7000
Spawns with: Default Weapons.

The Heavy Weapons Dealer's job is no different than the Gun Dealer's job. Although, he has more expensive and better guns.

Medic

Salary: $65
Job limit: 3
Purpose: Heal People.
Special Privileges: Can heal himself and others for free.
Spawns with: Default weapons and Med Kit.

The Medic's job is to heal players in need for money or free. With your medkit you can heal people looking at them from a close range and holding left click. You can also heal yourself by holding right click

Shop Owner

Salary: $50
Job limit: 4
Purpose: Selling anything.
Special Privileges: Can heal himself and others for free.
Spawns with: Default weapons and Med Kit.

The Shop Owner's job is to sell what he said gained from other jobs including steel, uranium, guns etc.. Now I'm not sure why but you get a med kit when you spawn. Use that to your advantage. To use the Check out follow the steps mentioned in the previous jobs.

Priest/font]

Salary: $50
Job limit: N/A
Purpose: Helping people see the true way of god or brainwash then.
Special Privileges: None.
Spawns with: Default weapons.

The Priest's job is to get donations from people, and lead them to the good or wrong way. You basically start explaining and going around the map telling people about god and how they should worship his bidding, now some will follow you. Here is where you brainwash them, you can either make them abide god and be angels or made them think they are angels while they are actually devils.

Great Idea! Will definitely be a big help to new and old players who are looking at trying a different job out.
Suggestion: Would it be possible to add to them what each class cant do as well, for example just a bullet point list of actions that they shouldn't do whilst RP as that class,
E.G. Black market dealer cant :

Lock pick
Raid

etc just examples, other than that amazing idea!

We'll add that when we finish all the jobs, right now out our priority is to have the guide ready for new players in a few days if not hours from now. Great suggestion though! We could use those.
