TOPIC: Joining Problems :(

Hey guys,

I have been playing on ZARP some months ago until the server has been closed etc.....
Now I see that it has been brought back to life and I would like to start playing on it again, but I have one major problem

After connecting to the server the ssrp content i being downloaded, right after the content is extracted the game just crashes over and over again ..........

May someone help me ? did s.o. have the same problem?

Maybe if I could extract the files manually right into my gmod folder it could work , is there a way to do so ?

First of all, I'd like to ask: do you receive any error messages when the server crashes?

Second of all, I'd like you to follow this troubleshooting method to see if it's some kind of issue between your client and the content pack:



If this method fails, I'm afraid the only other resort you could take is renaming the gmod folder/deleting all local Garry's Mod content and re-installing - backup what you need beforehand, however!

Please respond if you find success.

Im not the OP, but I had exactly the same problem. Thanks to you, Chris, it was solved, but not entirely. Now the problem is that even though I have the Zarp SSRP package and all HL2 content, I can see a lot of pink textures and errors. I have never experienced them before. Does anybody know a solution for it?

switched to 'Only download map files' and it works fine now

the HL2 content isn't enough , what you also need is the Counter Strike : Source content

Uh, I'm a dummy. When I reinstalled Garry's Mod I forgot to install the content. Thanks guys!
