TOPIC: s&box

Garry's mod is getting a remake with source 2, but not being called garry's mod 2 its called s&box. sbox.facepunch.com/news
I wanted to see everyone's opinion on zarp moving to it (if it can be done easily I wouldnt expect them to rewrite all the code)
I think this could greatly benefit zarp with the influx of players that will surly play the new game it would bring new players to the server as well. Only issue i could see is if the code doesn't transfer easily.
(also i'm not sure if the base character will look like the one i linked but if it does it would just have to be all custom models for characters because those look gross)

I will say that ZARP should definitely look into the opportunity as I am sure the most popular gamemodes such as TTT or DarkRP might be ported or remade for S&box. By the way! S&box is not Garry's Mod 2, it is an entirely new game based on the same principles, a way better version of what a Garry's Mod 2 would ever be.

If it ends up being successful and most of the gmod community move to it then sure, but I don’t see it being popular enough to justify zarp moving to it anytime soon.

Not sure if it will use lua/glua for modding or just C# and whatever other languages they're using, shame.
