There's not really much to it to be honest with you, I see it as more of a utility item than a weapon.

It's effectively just a melee sword, but once every so often it allows you to jump really far. Given that it instantly holsters you can spam it and for those players who are better with movement it means they are able to fly around the map super quickly. It does have some mad spinning fire ring but nobody uses it because it does no damage.
