TOPIC: [Discussion]"Play PS servers to get unabanned"

yeah its stupid since PS servers are the fucking most boring shit

go sit afk on one of them then, go play something else, can't have bad attitude if you aint there. I have always seen it as a weird thing but I think its more of an excuse to keep someone banned when they dont want someone back (WHICH THEY HAVE THE RIGHT TO DO) But I think honesty would be nice a simple yeah we dont like you would be better than a lie. Also my biggest thing is how attitudes can change from server to server, example on ssrp I tend to follow rules until someone starts me off then I snowball or if I get rdmed I will start doing it in return then it will escalate so I would say my rule breaks are more rdm. Then for TTT/PS I follow the rules for the most part. So yeah attitude changes over server to server, then completely different again for the forums, I tend to be quite loud with text but then not so much in any gmod server or ts. Interesting discussion

Issue is that that was meant to be sarcastic but now I think about it I actually like bhop... Should have said something about playing hide and seek in a video game

You could always use the forums, ts, or discord and show a good attitude there, it doesn't need to be on a PS server, but that's where it's easiest for you to show a change in attitude.

Just be like unban me if I break rules with a set amount of time give me a ban of 3 months with no appeal or something forcing you to afk on other pointshop servers is just dumb

Used to be valid imo, when there was actually ssrp staff going on PS servers, thats how i got unbanned for exploiting with explosive props, i went on Prop Hunt, i really like prop hunt, its really fun, plus there was SSRP staff going on prop hunt and a few ssrp players
So SSRP staff could actually witness the change in my attitude to deserve a ban reduction you know.

But nowadays, this excuse is not valid anymore, theres 2 SSRP staff members actively playing on both SSRP and PS servers, there's no way somebody could witness the efforts you put trying to change your attitude to come back on SSRP

Admins saying, "go on ps servers to get unbanned on ssrp" are just too lazy and dumb to think of a good solution to give proper advises to banned players.
