TOPIC: What would bring you back

What would bring you back 4 years 3 months ago #1190898

I don't think anything could. The server is nothing like it used to be and role-playing on the server disappeared years ago. It's more akin to an incremental game where every player is competing to grow their inventories and wallet balance but that was trivialized when game breaking bugs on certain wheels were not patched and not rolled back. Too many pointless suits made to chase booster pack sales it would seem. It's more of a cash cow than the experience it used to be.

Most staff at some point get bored of the servers they're staffing for though and ultimately stay around for the "process" of things or the people they play/talk with.

Painful to read, but it's totally true ... everything is now based, as you said on their inventories.

Throw everything that wasn't in the game in early 14 out the damn window. All these suits, insane weapons and stuff ruined the gaming experience for me.

Tbh what made me decide to stay at first wasn't nice people or insane weapons and suits.
What made me decide to stay was getting revenge on Soxey who raided my base and killed me meanwhile being a little toxic throughout the raid too.
So 1. None of those op weapons, suits or upgrades like f'ing base protection or ammo boost. keep it simple.
And 2. Be a little toxic towards others? Idk man.
Soxey was a great guy though.

So you suggest we take away everything that makes zarp unique and make it a generic darkrp clone? and make it almost exactly the same as just about every other server? if you want a server like that, theres literally dozens out there for you to join, most are dead tho, wonder why.

I wasn't suggesting anything, had this been a suggestion, I would've used the correct template and posted it in the suggestions section.
I am merely answering the question which is this post "what would bring you back".
And yes, tbh I'd rather prefer to play on the server as it was in early 14.
