Having spent 4+ years in the community, I always knew there would eventually come a time where I'd have to leave. This is now as I've just lost all interest in the server. I've had so much fun over time on this server it's unbelievable. The amount of good memories I have on here is just astounding, I mean, it's just a Garry's mod community, but it was always a place to go and talk to some interesting people for these past 4 years. I've met so many fantastic people in this community it'd be impossible to make a list of all of them, but I'd consider anyone that I got along with until the very end as one I'd remember. I'll probably stay within the community, primarily on the forums, but this is probably it for SSRP for a very long time if not forever. I'll probably come back in the following weeks possibly to give away items and money etc, but chances are even that won't do any good for my feelings on the server.

Seeing SSRP in this state just brings me down each and every day I see it, wishing that things could be the way they were again back in 2015. I know that of all people, DEAD is probably the last hope for this server's survival, and I'll be very excited to see what he'll do with it in the future. Truthfully, what gets me is the amount of people that have simply joined the community to ruin the experience for others, and that just shows the general complexion of the character of this community. It definitely wasn't the majority, but these players make me miss even ones that I disliked years and years ago. It's crazy how much a garry's mod community can show you.

For years I've always wondered why players leave suddenly, virtually without a trace, and I can definitely see why nowadays. It's truly sad what some people in this community do in order to ruin the fun of every single player.

I'd appreciate if you guys wouldn't bring drama onto my thread, as this is serious and I just want to keep it as a farewell to you guys.

Wasn't planning on logging into the forums for a year until I heard about this one.

It's not a surprise for me to see people leave anymore, it started last year that the server was draining empty, and I understood exactly why, but they never wanted to hear it, and they still don't.

You were a great friend and fun person, we had great memories, you were by far one of the greatest persons I played with.

Sam, as much as we didn't get along you've been in this community for a long time and it's a shame to see you leave after losing interest. If there's anything we can do, whether it's for SSRP specifically or on a more generic community-level, please let one of us (lead team/CM team) know as we're keen to listen to qualms people may have. I must disagree, the Lead / CM Team - especially CM team have not listened for a while now, hence why it's draining empty.
It would be a great help by looking through suggestions as that states all issues we ever had

Nobody's made any complaints to me /shrug

To further expand on this, suggestions aren't covered in the meeting and haven't been done in a long time. As far as I know, that section was removed.

The suggestions that refer to actual changes within the game, new features, bugs etc are up to the Community Team to review and manage. There's only so much work that can be done at any one time, but just look at DEAD's most recent changelog, that's been his work for the past few weeks when you factor in all the testing that needs to be put in to make sure that they're sensible for the live servers. There's only so much the SSRP lead team itself can do with these suggestions (such as posting constructive feedback or helping test what has been implemented).
