TOPIC: [DARKRP] New Players Starting Off.

Hey all,
I was just wondering about something, it's been troubling me for a while now.

Firstly, you have the income from multiple sources such as mining, printing drug dealing etc. Printing barely makes any money, even with the best printers it's not like you make much due to being raided so easily with no source of defending. People with items can just press one button and bam, they're in your base. To make it even difficult, people have suits that can just teleport into your base, turn invisible, jump incredibly high and above all that, they're tanky. I get it that it costs a but load of money for the suits but what can us new players do to prevent this? We stand absolutely no chance.

People tell me "go onto server 2 to base since no one raids over there" but then what's the point of having a base if you just sit there for hours waiting for money to print or drugs to grow? The whole point of having a base is to defend it. I know that contradicts my previous statement but don't you think it would be smoother for new players to be able to base if the people raiding them weren't players with massive armour? I'm perfectly fine if they'r raiding me with most of the weapons, but armour; that makes them almost unkillable with beginner items.

All I would like to know is what can us new players do to make money? What can we do to defend against these guys with massive suits? I've even had to resort to being police because overtime that's safer at making money as well as making more since my salary can't be taken away. I don't blame the suits since every server pretty much has them but I would like the chance of being able to defend my base with something.

Additionally, what are the best ways to make money? And please don't say printing cos that's been ever-so futile.

You have a good point, I'll try to buy/make gems and sell them at a higher price. I'm not sure how people get an "ALT" do they have 2 steam accounts and 2 gmod accounts or?... I've heard a lot of people talk about it. I'd happily do it but if it means buying another Gmod game then I'll pass thanks xD
