Also possible to change suit overlays and character models, just want to know if its okay to do this and not be punished

It's absolutely fine. I've downloaded bunnyslippers's reskin for the hyper suit, and it looks so much better.

yeah i feel like that could me modified and give the user a slight advantage if they are seeing something different from what everyone else sees

Regarding changing the icons of the items as far as I know there should be nothing wrong with doing it. However changing the overlay of the suits is not allowed. It would give you an unfair advantage over others as the suits overlay is made on purpose to give you a slight disadvantage in vision. So doing it would count as a Malicious Client Side modification which is disallowed by the following rule:
