Hello, I don't know if this is intentional or not so I came to the forums for help, but I've recently been thinking about the way recent punishments work, so I got told that I have 6 or 7 recent punishments and got given a screenshot of my punishments, I noticed that when you get given your fourth warning and you get banned the ban and the warning do not merge into one and are classed as two recent punishments, the only difference being is that the warning is the bans reason and the ban has no reason, it's just showing you in the rapsheet that it's the console ban for four warnings.

I wanted to know if this is intentional or if this is just meant to display to staff that it was a console ban for excessive punishments?

Obviously a ban is a ban and should be treated as a punishment, but in terms of the warning system 4 warnings warrants an automatic ban from the console and 3 a kick.

Any clarification is appreciated!

Hey from what I have read from other threads I can confirm (with some confidence) that when looking through punishments staff are told to disregard old bans and not include them when checking recent punishments. Those are probably on your rapsheet just so if an admin is considering banning you they will see your past behavior and take that into account

E: it probably is intentional since this will help staff see your past bans

He's not asking that, he's asking whether or not it is intentional that an automatic ban for every fourth punishment counts as a seperate punishment.
