TOPIC: TTT - active hours

Hi guys!
I miss the old times so bad, but the thing is that whenever I try to join the server, there are no players on. So I was just curious if I ain't trying to connect at the wrong part of a day. Basically, I am just wondering if there is an hour when I'm almost guaranteed to meet some players there.

I mean people still wanna play but I'm guessing everyone doesn't join cuz they dont see anyone online. If you got about 4-5 players on then players will start joining and it usually lasts for the rest of the day. If you ask someone on discord or forums then I'm sure they'll be happy to join. If you're talking about UK time then I'd say about 5-6pm because that's when most people are back from work and school

Its simple, the old times won't return as I see it (to be optimistic we can hope the old players will come back), as most of the longtime players have moved on or are playing on other servers.

What TTT needs is a community again. You can peddle as many updates as you wish but the main thing that will bring people is that sense of community that it once had.

The current server owner is very keen on putting the blame on the previous owners for the current issues of the server, which is fine as long as it is legitimate criticism, but in reality those previous owners tried their best to get people on the server and did what they knew worked for years, and to be fair it did work in the short term, but not in the long term. Many things led to the majority of the playerbase leaving but that is quite convoluted.

I wish to see TTT in its previous state once more, but the way the server is going Im not sure if that will happen. Updates are great of course, but keeping a playerbase is much more important. Updates are important in that, but you have to give people a reason to come back. Let the users know you are listening to their concerns, especially the regulars, and update around their opinions, as long as they are valid.

All the current TTT LT have to do is implement changes wanted by the majority of the user playerbase, as long as they are reasonable, and the server should naturally grow from that. Listen to what all of your LT have to say and take their recommendations into consideration when finalizing decisions.
