well I mean it's not an unknown file type. It's what Source uses to record as standard. You put it into your source/gmod folder and then open it via the gmod console with the command "playdemo nubs" and it will play via ingame.
I don't have a youtube account to upload. Nor do I see anywhere it states I HAVE to upload anywhere else, it does say on your Ban request template "You must have evidence in your ban request. This include Pictures, Demos/Videos" .dem is a .demo file extension which is exactly what's asked for in the post.
I'd assume you'd know that as it's pretty standard.. But just to save you a bit of time and Effort Cranky. Here. I've made a youtube account, converted the .demo file to a .avi and uploaded it to youtube just to save you 5 minutes of your time just because you don't know what a .demo is and how to open it. It's currently uploading but will take 2 hours.
If another mod/ admin who knows how to open and view .demo file could view the footage before this is done uploading to save me two hours then that would be amazing. If not please bare with me while this uploads to youtube....

Oh also excuse the .errors, for whatever reason when recording a demo that's being viewed via frap it's not allowing the custom skins to show. Oh and one last thing if you need extra confirmation. Whidd, Fake and lovelynicole were all present. but bare with me for now while this is uploaded to youtube.
