This is not what makes a staff member "bad". Even LTs ask for second opinions etc. on the rules as rules can be seen from many points of view. Nothing to be ashamed of, rather respect the ones that ask questions and do not make stupid decisions themselves.

I ask questions every single day. Hitting HA didn't mean I had the ultimate understanding and interpretation of the rules. I still bug every and any rank for their ideas and thoughts on stuff. Tilin is absolutely right on this.
