Saying 'sorry' isn't apologizing to your victim by explaining its a joke, you DON'T realize it was wrong because you slipped it by as a joke. It did not have the intention of being humorous of any accounts but to yourself, the only thing it was, was a joke to yourself. The homosexual community is a understated minority and coming 'out' is one of the most difficult things in their life, had I or fuzzy been homosexual I we may have sunk deeper. The fact that you 'joke' about this states your lack of compassion for a group, no better than a racist who goes up to black people and makes motions aleuding to slavery, yet later tells them not to get mad because it was a 'Joke'.
