If anything this should either be something the community as a whole should decide upon, or the Community Team alone.
But I'd rather have the community as a whole decide upon this since everyone here clearly seems to be wanting to give their word & Vote in the matter.

I'd like a reason as to why this is a bad idea? I don't want the SSRP lead team to decide upon this one person across the entire community, where the hell is the democratic spirit man?

It's not our role as an SSRP lead team to decide for this one person across the whole communtiy

Because we have a Community Team and Community Managers for a reason. If we let every community dispute be handled by the Community, almost certainly some ridiculous things would happen due to it.

This is a case, where people are discussing rather or not a word would be considered racist or not. Based on seeing this thread alone you can clearly see that most people seem to agree that this is not a racial word.

The reason why this should be left to the community is that (and please take no offense to this anyone within the CM-Team) the CM-Team won't take everyone's opinion into account, they'll act depended on their own opinions which I find unfair in this situation. I think, clearly because people show the interest in this subject, the fact that we managed to get like over 100 posts within about an hour or two of everyone arguing, that it might as well be as fair to give everyone a chance to vote on the matter

You voted for the current CMs to represent the community so why wont you let them decide now?
