In Dutch "Spook" means ghost, so if I start talking in Dutch and casually mention a ghost movie I'm suddenly racist????

Also, "Spook" is sometimes also an actual name people have. Are they suddenly racist for having parents that gave them their name?
Keep in mind that this is not a Dutch speaking community and that its an English one.
But it is a British English community not an American English community, making the assumption that Spook is racist (which it is only in the US) again false.

It's an international community.
Once again, you're taking it from the points where it is a racial term, yet you ignore all the countries It's not a racial term in. Not really taking everything into account, are you?

You could just flip that argument and use it the exact opposite way, not considering the massive offensive the word has in America would not be taking an international view on this.

By banning the name you've just made the nickname more infamous.
