The word has deep racial meaning in America, I never punished you because that would be unfair. All I asked is that it was changed, a lot of players have been wondering why this was even allowed in the Community until recently when Tyler brought it to my attention. Also to those who are confused, saying you got spooked means you got scared - that's using it as a verb, you're going to scare someone, etc. However, this was not what was his name was. The word was used as a noun, and in a lot of places in the world, it's known as a racist term up there with the same meaning as the n-word.
I appreciate the fact that you've stated your opinion here, where it's clear and visible. However you must keep in mind, even if it's a term for the N-word in some places, it's clear the person is using it in a harmless fashion, you can clearly see by for example his profile picture alone he's using it to refer to "ghost", not to anything else...

Everyone knows how this term is used in this situation and the only reason why it's being changed right now is that someone got butthurt over something so harmless...

I honestly don't even see the problem with a name like this, especially if it's used to refer to ghost.
You see if It was used in a racial fashion, of course, I'd be on your side, but right now I just can't agree with your point.
The example I always used when it came to their names is this. Why go out of your way to use spook instead of ghost if that's the meaning. When I originally read their name my interpretation of it was the racist way it could be taken as because the way it was structured "small african american and big african american".

Then you're the racist here and not us.
Cultural difference, spook is used in a very different way here and some other places I'm sure. Scare is scare if you're going to use spook in that sense it would be spooked/spooky not just spook, if you're referring to ghost it's just ghost. Some of you have been saying you didn't know it was a racist term until now and I never even knew spook meant ghost in another country either.
