Surf Related

Someone new joins the server, explain how you would show them how to Surf for the first time:

I would first start by directing them to the rules located on the forums or tell them to type '!motd' i would then ask them to press f2 and bring them to spectator mode, I would proceed to ask the user to find my name and explain the layout of the spectator mode. The player with understanding of the keys shown on screen would then begin to learn the ways of surfing. If my teaching are not enough i would then proceed to helping the user allocate video tutorials through out the internet, once they have learned i would wish them the best of luck in surfing.

Explain what you would do if someone was Text/Mic Spamming:

I would start by giving them a verbal warning and making them aware that they are in fact breaking a server rule. If they proceed to mic spam i would then mute them for a reasonable amount of time, if the mute has not learnt them their lesson i may then have to take actions into kicking and or banning depending on how serious the matter may be.

Explain how you would deal with someone using an exploit on the server:

I would start by spectating the player and seeing how they use and abuse the exploit i would then ask the player to stop as it is against the server rules. I would then bring the exploit to a server owner and ask that they fix it asap.

Why I should be chosen (we recommend around 75 words):

I feel that i should be chosen for surf staff as it has much potential and i can see it growing everyday that i am on, but as it grows so does the rule breaking sadly and at many times there are not enough staff on and now that school is over i feel that i can be on multiple hours and stop any rule breaking that may take place. Surf is an amazing server with an amazing community and i hope that if i get staff i can maintain that reputation.
