Languages I speak: Dutch, English (I do understand German)
Promotion Related: Explain how you feel that your time as a Moderator will contribute to you becoming an Admin: As a Moderator I've learned the things you'd need to learn to make sure the server does stay clean, No spammers no rulebreakers racists etc. As an admin, I'd be able to enforce the rules with even more powers, and take the punishments towards the newest rows with the ban command being available to me. (Even though this should be the last resort command.)
Explain a situation in which it would be appropriate to use the ban command: The ban command is usable when...
A] Players don't learn from the warnings they've gotten.
B] A player is ban evading.
If you had to write a letter to train a moderator in between 100-200 words, what would you say to give them the full grasp?: Hello <Playername> congratulations for getting accepted as a PROPHUNT Moderator!
I'll be explaining certain things and how to use your powers to help us out with staffing the Prophunt server!
Introduction
As a moderator you're now able to staff the server, you can help us by stopping rulebreakers from breaking the server rules with your new powers. I'll go over them specifically in a moment. We trust you not to abuse the powers you are given and I wish you the best of luck with helping us with staffing the server!
Commands
As a Moderator, you'll be having a few commands, these Include...
(Kick, Warn, Mute, Gag, slay, TP, Bring, Goto & fspec)
Kick the kick command will remove a player from the server, this can be used when people have names that they shouldn't use or do other stuff that might be worthy of a kick. It's not the best punishment command out there as warn & mute / gag do a much better job.
Gag Gagging someone will make them unable to speak, this should be used when people are saying stuff down they mic they shouldn't say or when they're spamming the mic.
Mute Muting someone will make then unable to chat, it should be used when people are chat spamming, being racist in chat and stuff like that. It's a simple command but make sure you do always attach a reason to it.
Slay Slaying someone (shouldn't be done generally) will kill a player. It's not something used in Prophunt so you'd best leave it for what it is.
TP TP will teleport someone to your cursor's location. Bring will bring a player to you instead. Goto wIll teleport you to a player.
These commands should be used when someone is stuck or when you need to go to someone for whatever reason.
FSpec Fspec (force Spectate) will place people in the spectator mode. You should use this when a player is AFK and is still in a team to avoid them from spawning in the start of the round.
Warn You can warn a player aswell. Warning a player will tell then what they did wrong. You can warn a player to give them a warning of "don't do it again or you'll be in trouble." warning players is the most common thing you would do as a moderator and it's often used together with the commands such as mute & gag.
At last, you can access the commands through the UXL menu. You'll have to bind "ulx menu" to a random key which you can use to open the menu to access your commands in an easy manner. !warn is not included in the menu so be aware of that.
Also, make sure you do stuff according to the ETHOS which means you shouldn't be a dick and instead give people a chance one by one, start by just giving a mute then a warn as well and if they keep doing it you can always get them banned by an admin in the end.
Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology, and effort. You check the ban list and find that you banned them permanently for Cheating and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be? You can't handle your own ban appeals
But I'd respond with the following. "It seems that you're really sorry for your actions. Which is shown by the way you have made this appeal. I am willing to give you another chance but I can't handle my own appeals so I'll have to wait for someone to deal with it. But in my opinion, you'll be able to get a 2nd chance."
Why I should be promoted (we recommend around 100 words): I've been a moderator for a while and I'm mostly capable of staffing the server whenever I have the time to do so as a moderator. But being able to ban people certainly will be a great improvement as I'll be able to do anything I would as a mod as well as having more commands available to me such as the ban command, which can be very useful in certain situations. Even though it's not necessary It will certainly be a good thing to have and it would help me out with staffing the server, allowing me to become more independent in the things I can do. (Aka I don't have to call an admin on to deal with stuff for me)
Extra Information: (Not Required) I have received an official warning last week, although this warning was false due to game tracker not updating properly. I'd love for people to look past the official warning as it wasn't a justified thing for me to get.
This week I've gotten my activity (sorta?) In the past 7 days. And if my minutes of today are still at 0, it's because game tracker didn't update by the time the meeting has started. In which case I'm sorry but you'll have to trust me.
