Explain how you feel that your time as a moderator will contribute to you becoming an admin:
my time as a moderator has been the same has it was when I was a moderator on bhop been very smooth and plain sailing.
Explain a situation as a moderator you encountered that was an obstacle you had to work around (EG: defiant user):
There was a user that seemed new to Surf and was not sure how to Surf in general, when I attempted to talk to him to give assistance he didn't really understand English so after about 10 min of trying to get him you understand I wanted to help I linked him a youtube video of a surfing tutorial and then i checked up on him a while later he had improved greatly.
If you had to write a letter to train a moderator in between 100-200 words, what would you say to give them the full grasp?:
Hello, welcome to the Surf staff team this letter will help you get a grasp on the commands and responsibilities you will have as Moderator.
Responsibilities
you will need to make sure that everyone on the server is having a good time and that there is no one hacking, exploiting, bullying players, etc.
You may need to give out some punishments if you encounter one of these situations so here is a list of commands and what they do, to help to get a good understanding when to use them and how.
1. "/voicemute - /unvoicemute [Name/Steam ID]" - this command will mute/unmute the player from using the voice chat
Situation: this would be used if there is a player using abusive/Rude language or Mic spamming with either music or their voice after being requested to stop.
2. "/// [Text Here] "- this will allow a staff member to talk to other connected staff members without letting users see the conversation.
Situation: you are dealing with a player that it appearing to be troublesome you use admin chat to ask a fellow staff member to assistance or advice.
3. /chatmute - /chatmute [Name/Steam ID] - this command will disable/enable a player from using their chat.
Situation: this would be used if there is a player using abusive/Rude language in Chat after being requested to stop
4. /kick [Name/Steam ID] (Reason) - this will kick the player from the server.
Situation: This would be used if there is a player breaking constant rules after being punished you would then kick them from the server as a punishment. the server as a punishment.
After Reading this letter i hope you now have a better understanding of the commands and responsibilities you have as moderator
thanks,
TheNeonRaider
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that you banned them permanently for Cheating and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be?
I would not take the ban appeal since my opinion could be bias and the outcome could be unfair. I would request another admin to take over the appeal. But if I had to take the appeal since it involves cheating I would ask advice from a higher up and then make my decision on what feedback I would get.
Why I should be promoted (we recommend around 100 words):
I believe I should be promoted because I believe I have proven myself to be a trusted member within this community with having head admin on bhop the situations I have come across have been the same as I have on surf I feel like have more than enough experience for admin I have been staff on SSRP so I easily know my way around Fadmin
