Cat's Application
Hello and welcome to my administrator application. Some say I should have been here a while ago, but everyone has their own time. Progressing from a minge to the moderator rank was a big step some may think, but now's the biggest leap. Thank you for even considering to read this application!

Explain how you feel that your time as a moderator will contribute to you becoming an admin:
My time as a moderator can be seen as very different compared to others. Instead of going the usual route of only doing f1's, I took time to investigate cases of exploiting that would otherwise be left unseen by other staff. I'm not sure that I was meant to be doing this, yet I enjoyed the hours I spent investigating cases of what seemed like exploiting or other well hidden rule breaks. I've learnt how to deal with people that do not feel the need to cooperate, use the menus and most importantly, the times I regret my life for not going for admin.

Explain a situation as a moderator you encountered that was an obstacle you had to work around (EG: defiant user):
After some constant spamming, LTAP, prop pushing and prop spamming. I was unable to do anything without an admin, only delay him. The user's friends started to come on and get mad, prop pushing and prop spamming as well trying to get my attention away from him, this could have been handled easily without disrupting other's game play if I had the administrator rank.

If you had to write a facebook post to train a moderator in between 200-300 words, what would you say to give them the full grasp?:
Congratulations on your new moderator rank!
The staff team is happy to be working with you, before you do, you'll be going through training. Once this is completed, your staff rank will be given to you by a super admin or higher. To start, we'll be going through the basic commands you will be using, these can be found easily by clicking on a person within the tab menu. The main ones you will be using are teleportation, muting/gagging and freezing, you may want to begin with binding your teleport key. This should be a key that is far away from the center of your keyboard, make sure you do not press this accidentally. You can do this by using the following command and pasting it into your console after modifying it to your preference: Bind "(key)" "say /tp".
You will want to do f1's as it is one of your main focus's as staff, this can be done by pressing the f1 button on your keyboard. Your cries for help from a staff are no longer heard, as this is replaced by your magical list that shows the logs and current f1 requests. You may handle one of these by right clicking on the request and clicking "handle this". Although this is not demotable, you should not skip f1 requests unless the user is AFK or you are unable to communicate him in any way. After handling the f1 and checking if the user is available, click the abort button if the user is unavailable or continue with the sit if otherwise. As you probably already know how you plan to handle f1's, I'll make sure to keep the most important and brief information for you. To start, make sure you teleport to and bring players using the tab menu unless you are 100% confident with chat commands. You may accidentally bring the whole server to your location which will lead to absolute chaos and some consequences may occur. Secondly, when warning players, make sure to use the steam ID which can be found on the same tab menu. You will need to warn players via the chat, thus you need to make sure you double check who you are warning via the SteamID. This is done by typing /warn (steamid) (reason) into the chat.
Occasionally, it may be hard to distinct between when to give a verbal warning and when to do the actual warning. You may check this by pressing F6 on your keyboard, by doing this you have the choice to select a player. After checking this, you may see if any of the warnings are recent to lead to another warning, a good idea of a no recent warns should look like 10-14 days since the last warning.

Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that you banned them permanently for propspam, and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be?
Hello Player X,
I notice you have put great detail, apology and effort into your appeal. I have checked to find that I was the staff that has banned you, thus I am unable to act upon this currently. I am sure the staff team and I would be willing to give you another chance, yet as a fair warning, other bans of this nature will be taken seriously and you will not be left the hook as easily. I hope you take this post into account and realize this is your final chance before a truly permanent ban. Nevertheless, i will now contact another staff of admin rank or higher to deal with this.

Why I should be promoted (we recommend around 150 words):
I took a different route as a moderator, working hard to complete f1's, but go beyond and investigate the logs in areas where it may hint towards exploiting. I've been trying to work up and be like my main inspiration to keep playing ZARP, i7moody009. Becoming moderator for me was a big step to proving that firstly, I've changed from my mingy past. Yet, it leads me one step closer to achieving this goal and giving back to ZARP. I know that I've tooken a different route to being a moderator, lacking powers, but working around everything that came in the way. Some admins may be annoyed when I contact them that I need help or I've found something, so I wanted to change that. Some people wanted me to apply for admin earlier, but I think I've waiting long enough to prove myself to be ready for the administrator rank. I've seen how these presentations look, thus I realize I don't have the most space without giving the staff team a headache. Finally, my points have stayed the same from my moderator application:
I want to give back to the community after spending such a while on ZARP. I hope some of you still remember me back from quite a few years ago, but I'll dedicate this final sentence to Moody. Thank you for inspiring me to continue striving to achieve my goals as staff and not quit ZARP even when the worst happens.
