Maybe you should read the thread some more. He specifically said he wasn't apologizing to them.

And now you resign because you are unwilling to face the consequences for your actions?

Look, you made a mistake. But that isn't to say that a resignation is needed. Learn for your mistakes and get better. Don't resign and learn nothing at all...
or, see this smart peice of speculation, i know it maybe a little hard to handle !!!

Maybe, just maybe... He realised after this event that he didn't want to be staff anymore because he didn't think that he was fit for the position? I'd say giving yourself punishment instead of having someone else do it is showing a willingness to face the consequences, not the other side :)

Regardless of if you don't have to apologize, you should. You abused your powers and that isn't acceptable at all regardless of the situation, I mean you clearly calculated a way that you could try do it that would seem less like abuse than anything else by using the hypersuit and that makes it very difficult for me to feel that this was done out of rage.
Agreed

Apologizing, is something you do to show you have made a mistake, and to show you knowledge that mistake.
Apologizing to Everyone but the main person you was targeting, is just childish, and in Clarky's famous works, "Pathetic".

I've had many times where I have done something stupid to someone IRL or just talking on TS for example, yet I still will apologize to them, no matter the situation, because it shows you can admit to your mistakes, and shows you can be professional about a situation, NO MATTER who they are or the Circumstances.
Yes, because "everyone" does totally not include 1 specific person, my bad !! XD

Or, even though he did apologise since that's the entire point of this thread, maybe he just dealt with it like a man so to speak and gave himself the punishment like i said above?
Plus i'd like to see you doing these IRL apologies, i'm sure you get loads of street cred for them.
